Comment: Wow wow! This place is wonderful! The service is exceptional and clearly catering to both a business but also Japanese business man audience. Every table was taken by 12:30 and the sushi bar was jumping.We ordered the sushi set which came with tuna, salmon, hamachi and several other fish all that were super fresh. There was also unagi on the plate.There were a number of sake’s which we did partake. I was being hosted and so I was not able to table many photos. But I will be back and will add more.Here is my desert, it was delicious.

Im a big fan of making lists of all the places I eat and as far as taste goes, Sushi Ann belongs in the top tier with Daigo Sushi (San Francisco) and Sushi Kashiba (Seattle) The service was awesome, the Omakase fish selections had a nice variety and the fish was perfectly paired together with each dish.

Servers were friendly, attentive, and prompt.I had omakase and the fish was freshhh. It was uni season when I visited, and they had several kinds on hand imported directly from Japan. The octopus was also extremely delicious. They also have a nice selection of wine and drinks! I sat by the sushi bar and the chef was very knowledgeable and friendly.While the price is on the higher end, the quality and service lives up to it.Overall, everything from the people to the food is wonderful. Will definitely come back!

Comment: Chef Warare is a beast! Worth every penny for his Omakase. If you want traditional sushi as good as what you can get in Japan, make sure to sit at his sushi bar. I’ve been to many of the best sushi Omakase bars in NYC and Japan. He set the standard for me in the US. It’s pricey but in comparison to some of the trendier sushi spots like Nakazawa or 15 East you’ll find the cost to be fair.

Anyway all great after there. I began with a salad. We all know he generic ginger dressing at all sushi restaurants, I kinda like it. This was an amazing salad. Simple but the finger dressing wasnt the one aforementioned. Clearly house made and delicious. Spicy yet not overpowering. Then began the sushi. I told the sushi chef that I was hungry but would defer judgement to him. And that I liked everything. He began with sashimi and then sushi. Everything was delicious. From the blue fin tuna tasting to the mackerel and sardines and everything in between. I usually dont love raw shrimp but this one was amazing. He showed me how to open the head to expose the meat which was by far the best part. The uni was also out of control. I finished off my meal with a molten chocolate dessert. At that point I hadnt ever seen a menu and as I just stepped of the street I had no pre knowledge about any prices. Ill cut to the chase. It wasnt cheap. The bill shocked me a little. I spent $186 with tip. Worth it? Not sure. I dont regret it for one second. The sushi chef clearly enjoys what he does and that spills over to my enjoyment. Will I be back? Probably but for a more special occasion not simply a sushi fix. Thank you for a great meal!
