Comment: The fish is fresh and the service is good. As one of only two sushi places near Milford/Port it is nice to have one close by. The only real negative is the very salty soy sauce they use (oddly even their low sodium ) and the rice (which has gotten better lately) is not as good as the best Japanese places in NYC.

Comment: This restaurant is our halfway point whenever we travel to visit family, and we always look forward to stopping here for a sushi lunch during our travels. We’ve been visiting a few times a year for more than 5 years now, and this place always hits the spot. We usually get several rolls and some nigiri, and we always come away satisfied! We wish this tasty joint was nearer to home so we could visit more often!

Comment: The tempura and the miso were the best we’ve ever had The black dragon was the best if your ever looking for good service good food and good miso you should come here The black dragon is a mix of smoked your cucumber and avocado it is one of the best I’ve ever had along with soy sauce it comes with around 10 rolls and it is very savory and soft on the tastebuds I recommend

Comment: Unexpected gem in Matamoras! Kids loved the beef teriyaki so much that my daughter who rarely eats rice cleaned out her entire bowl after mixing it with the teriyaki sauce. Adults had a delicious sushi bibimbop. Will definitely come back!

Comment: Went inside to pick up order, restaurant is very clean and decorative. Drove home with food, 20 mins away, food was excellent 👌🏻 😋 Everything we ordered was amazing. The miso soup, sushi and both orders of Teriyaki were hands down the best Japanese Ive had since moving to PA. Great job to the chef and Itamae!!

Comment: I’ve had really really good Sushi and so I generally am scared to try the average strip mall sushi..... I must say Sushi Teriyaki exceeded my expectations. Not your average fast and affordable sushi. Excellent roll selection, well made with fresh ingredients. We also ordered the vegetable tempura. Al though it was almost all sweet potato, would have preferred a little more variety, it was also most excellent, with a tasty but not super sweet dipping sauce. If we lived in the area we’d definitely be back when in the mood for a quality but quick bite.

Comment: We loved it we went for lunch my son and I and he had a mango roll with crab it was so good I had tofu Teriyaki and we split the rice it was so delicious the people are nice it was very quiet there was a man there reading a book by himself eating his Sushi I admired that and they were playing very nice soft jazz music.. oh and the Miso soup that they give you complimentary was delicious and I usually dont like it too much but I loved it.. so I definitely recommend it

The sashimi is the perfect temperature, the service is good, and the prices are fantastic!!This is our second time there, and we will definitely be back.
