Comment: Food and service is great. I highly recommend the green tea juices. I had the passionfruit one and I have come back a few more times to have it again. Honeydew juice was also amazing. The octopus appetizer with bonito flakes is a must but better if you’re dining in.

Comment: Places to get ramen are fairly plentiful, but Takkii in Syosset is special, due to the unceasing thoughtfulness of the staff. Any ramen you order here will be tasty and fresh, but the real highlights are the restorative power of the aromatic tea (special mix imported from Japan), and absolutely delicious fruit slushies, served in a distinctive commemorative cup and wonderful on their own or to go as dessert after ramen.

Its actually walking distance from the train station, so if you ride the rail, you have a great ramen option.I went with the black garlic Tonkotsu Ramen and chasu talking buns. The buns were so fluffy and flavorful. The ramen broth was out of this world. The overall flavor of the tender pork, black fungus, and eggs, among other ingredients, went together so well.The staff was delightful and the restaurant was very clean. The toothpics they used in the buns were so fancy that I felt bad throwing them out.

Comment: First time that I came to this restaurant. We chose take out but the restaurant is very cute. The person behind the counter was very nice and very helpful. The fried octopus was delicious but next time I will ask for more sauce. The seafood soup with noodles was absolutely delicious. We also had the pork dish with rice, again delicious. We even tried the kimchi, delicious, not to spicy, just right. The Mellon slush was perfect and I loved the cup it came in. Definitely recommend this restaurant.

Comment: Did takeout here and it is exactly what Ive been looking for close to home.Ramen dishes were well prepared, broths were flavorful but not overly salty.Gyoza tasted fresh, flavorful and were presented well.While I prefer plain edamame with salt, I appreciated the charred twist on it.All in all made for a fantastic lunch and I look forward to sitting down for a full meal soon!

My husband liked his meal, thought it had good flavors. The quality of the food was very good, sizeable portions for the price, and very fast service. Im definitely coming back here this winter. Comment: Came to this new ramen place which is having a soft opening. Ordered the Chashu Bowl and enjoyed it. The pork belly was tender, but the bowl could have used more sauce. Wendy, the co-owner, came over to chit-chat and I mentioned having more sauce would be nice, and she was nice enough to bring me a small bowl of sauce for the pork belly.Co-owner Chef Chen (sp?) came over to chit-chat as well and he talked about how he developed a passion for Japanese cuisine, and the method he uses to cook each ramen broth.I look forward to trying the Tonkatsu ramen on my next visit.

The karate with spicy mayo was delicious, and not to mention you can tell taste the sauce was made with love only complemented by the crispy and well seasoned chicken. Now the ramen felt like home kind of how you felt as a kid the night before chrismas.... let that speak for itself.

The interior design and decorations really set the mood and gave a Japan feel.
