Its a new spin on Korean food, you will find traditional also. There is just so much on the menus that I have not even come close to scratching the surface of it. Our server Jennifer is very attentive and offers opinions on what is popular since there is so much to digest. Must try and highly recommend it to anyone looking for good creative Korean food.

The atmosphere is great, with a spacious and calming yet cozy feel, and the restaurant itself is clean with a nice design and exterior. The food options are certainly extensive! The menu has food choices from various cuisines(Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese) and the pricing for the combos is fair; we highly recommend ordering the combo. We all ordered options from the plus combos, and every dish we were served was exceptional. We ordered the LA Galbi, Spicy beef tofu soup, spicy squid, and bibimbap; the food came out hot and in generous servings with various ingredients, each dish with very pleasant aromas. The galbi was so tender and flavorful, the tofu was soft, the squid was chewy, and bibimbap was sizzling and delicious. Even the salad appetizer was tasty and we helped ourselves! We are so glad that we came to Tang for dinner instead of other nearby options, and we’ll be coming back sometime too. We highly recommend this restaurant but you’ll get faster service if you come earlier. As we left, we even got a tote bag to carry the leftovers! Overall, fantastic restaurant and the best Korean place we’ve gone to!

Prices are typical for a Korean restaurant -- need about seventy bucks per person (including tips -- hopefully, the waitstaff actually receives it all!) for a decent meal, volume-wise. Being open 24-hours is a great plus -- sorry but Greek diners are the biggest rip-offs in the industry, like the one nearby -- so its really nice having gourmet cooking available whenever you want it! Parking available on-site or, given the safe and somewhat buccolic neighborhood, not far away at all.

It seats only 2-3 persons as it’s by the entranceway of the restaurant. Beats being seated outdoors in the winter cold. We ordered the soondae guk soup, Kani salad (so good), the sweet spicy chicken and some jokbal. My fave was the chicken and salad. Staff was very friendly and attentive.

Comment: Everything was great aside from an incident that happened in the parking lot. After valet hours, I would definitely suggest parking either on the street or around the block. Some people don’t know how to drive in that parking lot whatsoever. However, Chris was excellent assisting me with everything. Not to mention the food he pushes out. Their parking is also very accessible and they offer valet parking.I ordered unusual dishes that caused our server to make a double take. I started with Sundae, a peppered vermicelli blood sausage. I followed this up with a Hae Bibimbap, a raw beef rice bowl with mixed vegetables.The service is fast and the servers very aware of what you may need.The dishes were comparable to the ones I have had in Seoul so I can see why this establishment has the Michelin rating.

All, its great that they do the birthday song for someones birthday but when I went, there were 4 birthday dinners going on back to back and it was too much. The portions are also reasonable as well as the prices which is like two dollar signs $$ (about $12 and up).The restaurant is right on Northern Blvd. so you cant miss it. The Q13 and Q28 stops right in front of it from Flushing Main St.As for parking, there is valet parking for the restaurant. However, I would suggest finding parking in the neighborhood which is pretty accessible.

They always have great selection of combination meals which are priced between $20 and $30 with two different main entrees (pre-tax, smaller portioned). While a lot of the soups are too salty for me, other types of entrees are enjoyed immensely at every visit. Their kimchi are the very best. I believe they also sell them for your enjoyment at home. Oh, my favorite is the seafood pancake and Korean sake (makgulri) combination at $30. While this place isnt the cheapest Korean restaurant, the service is always above and beyond, food is always well prepared and notbgreasy. Definitely recommend it.

They have such a great selection of set menu items to choose from! I ordered the LA galbi with the spicy beef tofu soup + brown rice and my mom ordered the spicy pork (jeyuk bokkeum) with the clay pot (dolsot) bibimbap. All of the food came out quick, was hot, and was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurants decor is modern / industrial. The restaurant has valet parking, so there is no need to circle around the block looking for parking.

Comment: Went on a Sunday night and it was extremely busy. We had to wait about 30 mins to get seated. But the service was relatively good for such busy time. The food was great. Not too salty but not bland. Ingredients used and side dishes seemed very fresh. I had soon-deh-gook and it was a bit different from other places. The soon-deh was similar as other places but it had chunks of pork instead of pigs ear and liver. It was unexpected but the pork was very tender and succulent, so I did not mind too much. My family member all enjoyed their orders as well, which were Seafood Soon-doo-bu, bulgogi and woo-gu-ji hae-jang-gook.

For those who dont speak Korean, there is English on the menus and the staff does speak in English. Great family place and you get a real family vibe. Great staff and service. The meal I had a great balance to it. The meat was done perfectly and the there was a nice balance between spiciness and taste. Rice was spot on as well. Has its own sushi bar and Valet parking and I think the parking is a huge plus considering the area.Whats bad about this place is it has a measly Banchan and its pricey. Its worth the price but it is still very much pricey considering other places in the area.
