Comment: They make the BEST tonkotsu (pork broth) ramen in the area!! Im from Japan where it originated so I know what lm talking about. The tonkotsu soup has the perfect flavor and depth, the ramen comes with generous portion of roasted pork. When I had their ramen it just wowed me. This is the tonkotsu ramen l used to eat in my hometown! I need 10 stars to review the restaurant. If you want to eat real authentic ramen you should go to this restaurant.

Comment: Service was great, as was the food. On the day I went, it was not too busy and the spicy Tonkatsu ramen was fantastic. The pork-based broth had a lovely texture (as they say coats the back of a spoon) that only comes from hours of simmering. The chashu pork belly was also wonderful.

Comment: So good!! Fresh, great quality and delicious ramen. Pork belly buns are fantastic. Shrimp dumplings as well. I always go for the chicken broth but want to try others. I asked for a sample of the curry broth to see if it was too hot for me and they were nice enough to bring out a sample. It was too spicy for me but it was so flavorful, I would really recommend it.

Comment: This is THE BEST Ramen. The curry broath... its spicy but not overwhelming. Definitely makes you sweat just a tad. Its FANTASTIC if you have a little sinus cold and need to clear the congestion. Also decently healthy as well. Great ratio of broath to ingredients. Had some nice sake with it. I want to come back on a cold winter day. 5 stars easily.

I used a little extra spicy concoction for lack of a better word in mine and it was really good. It wasnt busy when we went. I tried my daughters which wasnt spicy but was equally delicious. Comment: I had only ever been to the Albany location before. I ordered the pork buns and the Tonkatsu Ramen. The pork buns were served almost like little tacos, but were incredibly delicious! The pork belly was perfectly cooked. The ramen was fantastic! Everything you would want. It was a lot of food, and when we left, I was super full. I would highly recommend Tanpopo to anyone who is looking for ramen in the capital region.

Comment: Man, this place was such a nice surprise! We just moved into that area and stopped over after doing some house work. The ramen was stellar, easily the best Ive had in this area to date. I got the Tonkatsu Ramen and my wife got the miso with the added egg and corn. She loved it, the egg was flavored in, I think, Miso. Her ramen was full of flavor. Mine was fantastic as well, the broth was packed with tasty goodness, and that was easily some of the best pork slices Ive had. We also got some apps as well. The gyoza were fried nice. Nice crispy bottoms, and I tried out the takoyaki. Ive never had it before, but, it was certainly worth getting. Cant recommend this place enough. Definitely worth checking out.

I got the spicy ramen and the spice level wasnt overpowering and added a lot of flavor to the dish. The appraisers were very fresh and came out hot. The staff was very friendly
