Comment: Can’t give this place enough compliments! Their staff is so polite and welcoming, and the food was fantastic. Everything tasted so fresh and high quality. They really pay attention to the details here because even the napkins were super high quality and luxurious. We had the option of a table or sitting in one of the private little rooms so we tried the room and it was great. Super cozy and private, and you have to take your shoes off to sit down inside so it feels very clean as well. I just felt bad for the servers because it didn’t seem easy or convenient for them to bring or take our plates/cups. The portions are very generous and we had plenty to eat + enough leftovers to take home. And we typically eat a lot! So worth braving the cold for this and I will absolutely return many more times in the future. Highly recommend!

It wasnt as packed as I thought for an early Saturday evening, which was good because we just walked in. I LOVED their pork dumplings. Their Chicken Fried Rice was tasty. And their Chicken Katsu was soooo delicious. We were excited and surprised that they had bubble tea on their menu as well, so that was an added bonus. Well definitely be going back soon.

The previous staff were experienced and friendly. The service is still good.Tenzan is a Japanese restaurant with an inviting atmosphere, a gem to be found in the area. With dependable, quality food, approachable customer service, and a clean and high-quality environment, it is definitely a league higher than the other restaurants around it. Because of this, Tenzan quickly became a favorite of mine when I moved here.The food is well-made and tasty. I love the ginger-carrot dressing salad. The katsu is crispy and goes great with their white rice. Compared to the other Japanese restaurants in the area, Tenzan feels much more authentic.P.S. If you are hoping to sit in their sliding door booths, you should make a reservation beforehand.

Comment: This place is my go to sushi spot if I want to treat my self since its slightly more expensive compared to my regular Brooklyn sushi favorites. Im generally not a fan of their sushi rolls but I love their nigiri and not just because they are large in size but because their fish is usually very fresh and delicious. My favorites here are scallop, sweet shrimp, squid, uni, tuna, salmon and eel.

Comment: Upscale (for the area) sushi place. Plenty of seating (they even have seating upstairs, but I never been). The little sit in booths are fun. I like the variety and they also added bubble tea a little while back so that will get your sugar fix if you dont order hard liquor (they have a full bar).

Comment: I admit I was like everyone else, passed by a few times, peering through the window and thought this place was pricey due to the nice decor. But finally tried it out with my brother and this place is pretty damn good. Their lunch specials are exceptionally affordable and generous as well as their regular dinner menu. Good date and family spot with full bar. Ive tried the sushi buffet place few blocks away and it was more expensive and the food, like all buffets are not all fresh. Give it a shot! Good places like these deserve the attention on 18th av.And no Im not paid to write this, look at my other reviews and youll see there are a lot of personal bad blood with businesses that I share

Comment: A great sushi restaurant they recently expanded into a bigger space to offer a big bar selection. They have good fresh sushi and great bento box deals. Theyre also a great place to host a birthday party and my family has had several here when I was growing up. At their old location my father once, at the end of the dinner, bought two live lobsters from the store next door and forced the cooks to cook them. They were fairly accommodating of such an insane request. The staff is very friendly and has a sense of humor as evidenced by some of the signs in the restaurant.

Comment: One word review: prefect. Food was delicious. Portions are decently big. They have full bar so you can order a good cocktail. Draft beer. Probably the best sushi place in Brooklyn Ive been to. They also have private rooms. And in general the place is very nicely decorated. The only downside was that they brought our appetizer with the main course and not earlier. Other than that a really good place.
