Comment: As an avid sushi consumer, I do not hesitate to tell you that this may be the best sushi I have ever eaten. It is definitely one of the best, if not the best! Fish is fresh, flavors are on point, tempura is cooked perfectly, and ingredients are balanced just right! The roll with the rock shrimp is insanely good!

Its been open for a number of years but I tend to shy away from main Street bc of parking but well worth the struggle. We went Friday and it was crowded but seated quickly. Went again on Monday and far less traffic in town and not crowded... Had the place all to ourselves.

Comment: If you know the difference between American Asian food and Authentic asian food, this place is about halfway in-between. Thats not a criticism as it is just an expectation of flavor/taste. Comment: We had a wonderful dinner at TAO tonight . . . this continues to be my favorite local sushi place . . .heres why:Our server was Jessie, and she was very patient, as we arrived at 6:30, and werent ready to order right away. She was very attentive the entire night (and we were there for 2 1/2 hours). She brought us hot green tea, and made sure when the pot got cold to bring us a replacement. Gave us each samples of one of their beers, and was simply very pleasant and didnt rush us out. In fact, she came over to our table at 8:50, to gently tell us they closed at 9.The food: We ordered seaweed salads, ribs, and tuna tartare to start, and then had a Volcano roll and a Sayville roll.All the food was scrumptious and fresh. The rib meat fell off the bones and was so flavorful.I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have eaten in the restaurant before, but not in some time. I don’t normally leave reviews but I felt I needed to give a shout out of thanks. The sushi was so fresh, dinner steaming hot and not to mention it was delivered in 1/2 hour. The general tsos was actually spicy! Thanks again! 10 stars!

Comment: Nice ambience, friendly service. I had the sushi dinner ($26), 10 pieces of sushi and a spicy tuna roll. Sushi was good, BUT watch out for the wasabi. Most of us in the U.S.A. are used to a wasabi substitute made from horseradish, mustard and food coloring. Its hot and clears out your nasal passages (sorry!) but doesnt leave a burning aftertaste that destroys the flavor of the sushi like the ToA version does. It tastes and acts like its made with hot sauce. Once I stopped using it, I started enjoying the sushi. But I way more prefer eating sushi with the more traditional tasting wasabi mixture. So, one less star because of the wasabi but, otherwise, a really nice experience.

The quality and combination of flavors were fantastic. TOA also has both Japanese and Chinese kitchen dishes if you are not a Sushi fan. Overall, a great experience.

The ambiance has a cool vibe to it. I know Toa has other locations and this one is in Huntington but doesn’t seem to have as much foot traffic as the other locations. Comment: Great new Asian Fusion in Huntington Village. Nice friendly staff. The spare ribs are a must, They fall off the bone. The signature sushi rolls are great. Easy to see right off of New York Ave. There is metered parking on the street and a municipal parking lot near by. Take out for lunch is great to. Discount offered for online purchases. We will definitely be going back.
