Comment: Im glad we decided to come here to celebrate my sons birthday. The kids really enjoyed both the food and the show put up by the chef. We had 3 orders of chicken-shrimp and 2 orders of Fillet mignon - scallops. The food was cooked in front of us, and we enjoyed it to the fullest. The portion was so big that we couldnt finish our plates. We will definitely come back.

Comment: What a great, hidden gem in Fresh Meadows! Not my first time with family and definitely wont be my last. Comment: Came here to celebrate my aunt’s birthday with my husband. It was awesome! We came right when they opened on Saturday morning during brunch/lunch time. The hibachi guy was so nice, funny, and quite entertaining. I loved the few halal meat options for those that do eat halal meats. The performance was amazing. The sushi is fresh and tasty as well as the calamari. Most importantly, the service was great. The hibachi with the lobster mix, shrimp, chicken and beef was also great. Loved the addition of various sauces as well. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great hibachi and sushi.

Would’ve been 5-stars but they need to increase quantity of food. We spent over $200 bucks but me and my brother wanted to grab food afterwards. Ribeye steak was small and the fried rice was split between three people. They should cook one set of fried rice for each person. Otherwise excellent from A-Z!

Comment: This is a decent spot for Muslims seeking halal hibachi. A true NY first experience. What I liked is that as soon as you enter they ask whether you want halal meat 🙏🏾and familiar with Muslim customs 😃. When we went it wasn’t too busy. The waitress was prompt. The meat itself is good not great but overall positive experience. Will probably bring my parents next time. I got the Filet minion medium with fried rice. The meat was tender. Price was not too expensive but too cheap either.

Comment: 3 years ago, my friend Tahmeedour went to a hibachi place and was greatly disspointed because he was still hungry after eating. Howver, at this place, Tahmeedour had a pleasant look on his face after his meal. I got the Tokyo hibachi combo. The chef was lively and did a superb fire trick which lit up Tahmeedours face. My friend Mashood picked up on his skills and was able to his own hibachi tricks. My favorite part of the meal was the scallops, it was super buttery and soft and Tahmeedour loved it too. After the meal, you get complmentary ice cream. Its good ice cream too, Tahmeedour ate my ice cream but I didnt mind, he deserved it after what hes been through. Im just glad this hibachi arc was wrapped up, we finally found a fullfilling resturant to please Tahmeedour!

Comment: Havent had Hibachi for many years, so with the restrictions lifted, decided to come here for the first time. Place had a few people at the hibachi tables and it got even more crowded when we left as more families came in. Food was good overall and definitely had alot of flavor to it. Once the chef was done it took about 15 minutes to get your order ready with some entertainment. Good place to explore the menu or you could stay on the sushi side of the restaurant if thats what you want to eat.

The crowds are diverse and it seems like a good spot to celebrate damn near anything, especially a birthday lol! The chefs are great at what they do and are also very entertaining! I will definitely be going back. And no worries, everythings grilled and theyve got options, so you can invite your greedy friend and the one that dieting too. PLUS, theres free parking around the corner!

They take your temperature, and you must write your name, date and phone number in case of tracking upon entering restaurant.Site is clean. Safe distancing is observed.Food is fresh, and good. Comment: If youre looking for a safe place to go outdoor dining during the Covid pandemic, this is the place! I ordered take out but I intend to go back for their outdoor dining. The tables are adequately spaced out and they have canopy tents so you dont have to sit out in the sun. The food was delicious, the portions were generous and the price was great!

Comment: Four stars for making us wait. I made reservations for 8 pm and we got to the tables around 8.40. Hibachi experience is always exacting, this place is no exclusion. The chef is funny, entertaining and cooking good food. Love him! Made us laugh all dinner long. We had lobster and steak combo. Everything is fresh and cooked the way you ordered it. It was great experience!

Comment: Great place for both hibachi and sushi. The waiter allows us to show sushi menus from other locations and he makes it as the menu describes. That’s fantastic for my family and I because Florida offers Fried Scallop roll but no one knows what that is up here. Tokyo Hibachi is the only place I have found that will make it. Yum

Comment: Our family went to Tokyo restaurant to celebrate my daughters birthday. On late Monday night the place was not crowded, just one party besides us. Fun performance by well trained chef helped making our waiting time a very entertaining show time. All of us ordered hibachi dinners which included soup, salad, appetizer and main entree. Soup was a bit too salty but very flavorful. Fried rice was probably the best fried rice I have ever had. A few additions, spices and herbs made it perfect. The price was a bit on expensive side but the portions were generous and good half of each entree went home in the doggie bag. It was a fun night out and we will be back soon.

Comment: Great first impressions here! The hibachi was great, you get a lot of food for your money’s worth! However, they lose one star for the waitress and credit card policy. My party of 7 asked if we could separate the bill in to separate checks. She made a face and said sourly that only 3 cards can be used per table. Everyone was paying card at my table except 3 people. So the 2 of the 4 remaining had to put their bill on someone’s card. Ridiculous that they can’t take more than 3 cards per table. Just a heads up for people with big parties that are paying card.

I have not had a bad meal yet!My meals are always cooked just as Ive requested. They even accommodated my many allergy free requests with 7 other diners at my table and it was well executed.It is a hibachi restaurant, but not similar to others.
