Comment: We usually get takeout, and most of the food is really good. We’ve never had anything bad, just meh sometimes. My favorites are the miso soup, peanut-avocado rolls, and veggie tempura. I’m vegan, and they are very good about getting that right. The atmosphere is a little drab, but clean and comfortable.

Comment: If you prefer a calm dining sushi experience, I recommend coming to Tokyo Japanese Cuisine instead, rather than Asian Tiger Cuisine. The staff at Tokyo Japanese Cuisine are quick and food was decent. I thoroughly enjoyed the bento deal: I ordered the deal with sushi and enjoyed it. Will come back again!

Its my childrens favorite place to eat...forget McDonalds, Wendys, pizza, etc...its the first place they name when asked where they want to eat and its the only place they want to go on their birthdays! Comment: I really adore this place! Being a very picky eater in general, I was definitely hesitant to try sushi in upstate NY. However, Im so glad I did! The fish tastes fresh and all of the food is GOOD- comparable to high end Japanese restaurants where im from (long island). Rolls are a decent size; usually 8 individual piecses are included per roll. Employees are friendly and have a positive attitude. Even when theyre busy on a Friday night, they put their all into making a positive experience for their customers. Presentation is lovely! Last but not least, the prices are impossible to beat....! I suggest trying a bento box: you get to choose 2 rolls and it comes with a soup, salad and miniature volcano roll, all for $10. There are also lots of other combination boxes to choose from for a good price. If youre craving sushi in this area, this is the place to go!

Comment: Before Tokyo opened, you had to travel to Binghamton or Albany for your sushi fix (Kampai off the Vestal Parkway is phenomenal, btw). Ive been going here since they opened. The staff always remembers me (even if I havent been in a few months), and they always throw in something on the house, either some deep-fried plantains, or a new dish theyre trying out.Theyve had an issue with their liquor license for a while now. I suspect it had to do with the sake bomb crowd that used to mob the place on weekends. Still, the sushi is excellent, and Tokyo remains my go-to, even with 3 other very good sushi options that have opened in the last several years.

Comment: Admittedly not the most authentic Japanese food (with LOTS of American-style sushi), but with a varied menu and very inexpensive options, Tokyo still provides an enjoyable meal. I always like the atmosphere and the staff are generally friendly. On our most recent visit we ordered the salmon teriyaki bento box, chicken fried rice, chicken yakisoba, and Tokyo roll. The only complaint I have is that the yakisoba was very oily and that was all I could taste, even trying to save it with soy sauce.

Comment: Really hard working staff. Great food with great presentation. A very wide and cheap selection as well, you can really get full without breaking the bank at this place. The seating is great for large groups, but not as comfortable for couples. A lot of collage kids will do saki bombs here so be warned.

Comment: Ive never really had Japanese food, so I cant be the best judge of the deliciousness, but choosing to go here was an excellent choice. I highly recommend it as a place for double dates. ;) The waiters are attentive, but not too crowdy, and the overall atmosphere is very peaceful. Two thumbs up.
