Comment: Really awesome spot! They have another location more uptown I believe but this one is new, opened 5 months ago. Really awesome traditional Japanese pub mixed with a modern NYC vibe. The food and service was amazing. Really nice spot for Happy Hours or just to stop and grab a quick bite.

Comment: Toriya is awesome! The food is delicious and the service was great! It’s a nice place to catch up and hang out with friends. We got one of the booth table in the back and it feels like we are in Japan. We love the pork belly volcano stew and the kimchi pork with tofu. Must try are their dumplings! Highly recommended!

Comment: Came on a Friday night and the vibe and food at Toriya was excellent. There was no wait for 2 people and the menu had a good variety of items. The yakitori is smoky and flavorful, the oden was homey (broth a little salty), the cucumber dish was refreshing, and the seafood okonomiyaki was delicious. Overall, a solid izakaya in NYC.

The variety of dishes I tried were all incredibly tasty, I couldn’t even have time to take pictures and I appreciated the friendly and attentive service from the waitstaff. Unlike many Manhattan Japanese restaurants, the spacious and hip atmosphere here was a pleasant surprise. Dont miss their happy hour from 5-7 PM, where you can enjoy $1 (for 3 pieces) of okonomiyaki

Comment: I was so excited to visit new Izakaya in LES! The food was very delicious, Especially Yakitori!! It was my favorite! The portion sizes are adequate. Great service and friendly atmosphere.I would go back for dinner and to chill with some beers and sake! Highly recommend.

Comment: The food was mostly clean, not too salty, and had a simple flavor. Additionally, you could feel the dedication put into each dish. We ordered a variety of foods, and every dish was satisfying. The staff also took care of our table attentively and were very friendly. The interior of the establishment had a delicate and refined feel, maintaining an antique charm while still being sophisticated. I highly recommend this place.

Comment: The food was so delicious to me who lived in Japan for a long time. It was a well-cooked dish with good ingredients.I heard that whole chicken is trimmed every day to make skewers, and the leftover bones are used to make chicken stock for Motsunabe.Even I, who dont drink a lot, was able to take my children and eat deliciously.The interior of the store was nice and the servers were friendly. Will go back often.
