Comment: I have dined here 3 times with family. It has not been a disappointment to any of us. Umi Sushi is starting out with good food and service. Price cannot be beat although I dont believe that lowering their prices was necessary. No parking lot but plenty of spots within a few yards. You will have a choice of all you can eat or alacart. They encourage your food orders without constraints and all the food is prepared as you order. Not a buffet!

Comment: Omg what can I say! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this sushi place! made me switch from my other sushi spot to this one! They Lowered down the prices to all their sushi last week, so all the past reviews are not accurate now. I really want everyone to come ant try this business, I never write any review to anything so this means a lot when I say this sushi spot is amazing!The place is very quiet and nice! and the service is so engaging and amazing! The women is so nice and friendly! They are all so welcoming! When I get pick up orders the worker even gives me a miso soup on the house! I was so amazed! I know after awhile it will stop because they will get more business and people but I love how they are so friendly and do that amazing gestures and kindness.I also love their food and their crabmeat tempera fried thing 100% the best! Their sushi is so good and very fresh fish and hot appetizers! The miso soup is hot as well when it stays super hot even when you get home from a pick up order.Its an ALL YOU CAN EAT for sometimes $20 or $28 depending on days and time but you can always call and ask. Thats what I also enjoy about this sushi spotWhen I am eating their, they are very observant and ask if you need anything else or etc...This amazing sushi spot is my new favorite and I enjoy the environment because it is a family business spot, I was even their when it opened up and saw the workers children at times playing and helping out the business. It is very cute to see a family business grow. At first they were expensive but because they have been around for some time, they fixed their prices and changed a lot on their menuSo I hope that this business does well continues to grow, so I can spend more of my money here lol

Comment: We celebrated here our father’s 55y birthday 🥳. Everything was perfect. Waitress Cindy and waiter Henry were very respectful and helpful. We really enjoyed our celebration there. Comment: I don’t think enough people have discovered this place yet. Haven’t tried the all you can eat but got the bento box and they were pretty good. Not the best. The roll we got was amazing though!! If your on a diet and trying to stay away from rice I recommend their spicy tuna naruto roll!

The sushi rolls were delicious and the shrimp tempura roll was the best. I also liked how spacious and large the restaurant is and I enjoyed their atmosphere. Comment: Umi sushi has been open for about two months and is a family run business. I love supporting small businesses whenever possible.The restaurant itself is inviting and is located on avenue U in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Lots of street parking is available.Upon entering you are greeted with a sushi bar, host and everyone welcoming you in. Fresh fish is kept in refrigerated sushi bar style coolers while the chef prepares rolls and sashimi from behind.The menu is extensive and offers a large assortment and variety from chicken, to eel, to fish and even vegetarian options.We tried multiple items and sampled soups, salads, rolls, sushi, fried items such as tempura and crab rangoon.The fried foods were served piping hot fresh from the fryer.Sushi rolls were all made to order and took a bit of time. At the time we came the sushi rice was a bit mushy and the staff were super apologetic.Fish was all very fresh and had no fishy smell or taste. Fish portion sizes were on the small size and the rice was a bit too excessive for the size of the fish.We finished our meal with some green tea ice cream which was a really nice treat.All in all there are a few growing pains but this place has some great potential to be a hot spot for sushi in marine park.I’ll be back to try them again soon!

Everything was fresh though and they did have a wide option of choices. They did limit the sashimi amount that can be ordered which was also a bummer but understandable.
