Comment: It’s a good Asian fusion restaurant. We dropped by this place with a toddler on a busy Saturday evening for dinner without reservation. We had to wait for about 20 mins. Their staff was very accommodating and made us comfortable during the wait.They customized our orders to be vegetarian friendly. We had roasted cauliflower, edamame, ramen and vegetarian pad Thai. Vegetarian pad Thai was our favorite.Their cocktails were amazing, we tried yuzu and blossom.

Comment: Met up with some long time colleagues for an evening get together and late dinner. First time meeting at this location in the Madison Park area and it was quite intriguing. A very mixed experience and greeted immediately by a lively crowd of young professionals [and other types], that packed the place. The menu offers a great array of libations for starters. The appetizers are a sensational touch which lasts well into the main courses. Insofar as salad mains, it’s a bit dodgey. Discovering, not all the veggies are absolutely perfect or super fresh however. Though overall, not bad paired with sake, plus a soda water chaser. In terms of the wait staff to bar staff, highly complimentary. And particularly very handsome people, a great pleasure! A definite must for the holidays and anytime after.

Comment: When first entering the restaurant you are greeted by the most polite staff members. The restaurant is beyond clean with a very classy Asian look and atmosphere. The staff were phenomenal. The executive chef Francisco went to tables and personally checked on food quality and customer well being. As did one other manager I believe her name was Ally and multiple servers. The menu has a variety of veggie and vegan options. My party of three had the tokyo fries, fried chicken gyoza for appetizers and for the main dishes we got the pork ramen. We didnt wait not even 10 minutes for the appetizers to arrive and shortly after the main dishes came. The food was prepared quick, hot, and delicious. On a scale from 1 to 10 the atmosphere was a 10 the food a 15 and service a 20. I will be making this place a regular visit of mine. I HIGHLY recommend any and everyone to give this place a try.

That said...The tofu w/ ponzu was psycho...The greens were a bit overpowering in the mix. I felt the base was not HOT enough and isnt that what soups about? I wasnt sure if it was me or the style...HOWEVER, I WILL be going back... The menu was wide with other amazing looking options... Their fresh beverage list seemed lacking nothing! Although I would comment that it is more of lemon fused flavor instead of yuzu. I also ordered shrimp kimchi ramen. The kimchi may be too hot for some people and the ramen has a finish of sweetness (?) I wonder if they added sugar to the soup as well. Overall their food is nicely presented and I enjoyed the taste very much.A small fun fact besides food: Wagamama means egoism or being a little bit selfish (but in a cute way) in Japanese. I like this name as well.

Wagamama is a UK based Asian inspected Japanese chain restaurant and now has several locations in New York. This is a must visit place in NYC for the food, decor, and fun vibe.We ordered Gyoza, Chili Calamari, Edamame, shu’s ‘shiok chicken’, Chili Chicken Ramen, and Chicken firecracker curry. Each of the dishes were so flavorful and beautifully presented! You have to try the Ramen here it was delicious. Both the shu’s ‘shiok chicken and chicken fire cracker curry were outstanding. The spices and flavors were perfect. I loved the Up Beet juice I ordered, it was so refreshing.

Comment: This is literally one of my favorite spots in NYC! Talk about delicious. I always get the mushroom + eggplant bao and the spicy teriyaki salmon w/ soba noodles! The bao is sooo good. The eggplant is so crunchy and the flavor is on point! I always ask for sriracha, just to add a little kick! Yummm. The salmon in the teriyaki dish is always cooked PERFECTLY, and the flavor of the noodles is insane! Yummmm. So good! Seriously. It think you can go wrong with a place that has a solid menu, and does the dishes well.We got two items as appetizers, the Korean chicken wings and the pork belly + panko apple bao.The Korean chicken wings were average I would say. They tasted good and were not dry. My only two gripes were that the wings were a little small and they were a little too covered in the sweet and spicy sauce, it overpowered it a little.The pork belly + panko apple bao was very tasty. It’s an open bao and the pork belly was tasty, but what really set it apart was the panko apple. It created a contrasting sweet flavor and texture that complimented the pork belly PERFECTLY! Wow, I loved it!Lastly, I had the katsu curry. While plated unusually with the rice being on top of the katsu, it tasted amazing. The chicken was fresh and juicy with a great panko coating, the rice was fresh, and the curry was rich and thick! I loved EVERY SINGLE bite I had!

Comment: The truth ! I went to wagamama some 10 years ago when I visited the UK . A friend brought me there . It is fast food but better quality ! He said . I enjoyed it but it was not anything to brag about .Fastforward those 10 years, I am back to NYC, and I walked in wagamama. Service, interior and food, all good! I guess, I love that there is a place that conceptually combines sweet greens, ippodu and juice press all at once while also adding more value with the rest of the items on the menu and the fancy interior .I got the duck over rice and the dish made me nostalgic, it evoked the memories of the time I ate turkey over rice in Taiwan .. of course, it did not come at a price of $1.52, mind me the gap, inexpensive Taipei street food ...

Comment: An absolutely delicious dining experience. They have a great menu selection with a diversity of options. I went with the steak bulgogi teppanyaki, which was perfectly made in every way. I also tried their tuna tartare and Korean bbq beef and red onion bao (pictured). I definitely need to keep coming back and trying their other options. Also, theres an abundance of seating and a candle-lit vibe all around!

Comment: Awesome dine-out place. We were a group of 5 and had booked high rise seating, we were seated next to the open kitchen which was a new experience. Relaxing and clean ambience, awesome top class service and delicious food. Ordered chilli chicken ramen, the vegan ramen bowl, firecracker chicken & shrimp and a curry bowl. The chilli chicken ramen sooo yumm and the broth was bursting with flavors and soul-warming. They also have a fantastic drinks menu with craft beers. Will definitely recommend and waiting to go back again!! Kudo to Wagamama team!!

Comment: Very nice place, clean and trendy, service friendly, half a star lost because food comes out at different times (they do explain that it will but its just weird and awkward to do this, it causes people to either apologize for starting without the others or to sit there with food going cold), half a star lost because I ate a main course & dessert and Im still absolutely starving hungry, its light food, it looks like a big portion but some how its not enough.

Food here is innovative here: it has canonical Japanese cuisine structure but also boasts globalized ingredients, creating a whole new dimension of flavor. Its signature dish, wagamama ramen, resembles its Japanese origin in structure by having char siu, menma, sea food in one single large bowl. But the first taste of this ramen will reminds you pho freshness. The stock is light but savory. Shrimp bounces between your teeth. Comment: Went here for the lunch part of a party I had, this being my first time going here. The servers were really nice and they let us kind of take over the top floor of the restaurant (yes, its a big restaurant), as we were pretty loud. We started with the duck gyoza and the pork gyoza, which were both amazing, but I recommend the duck because the dipping sauce is heavenly and its different from your usual gyoza. Ordered the shirodashi pork ramen, and my friend ordered the same thing, but hers came out way before mine. The thing was, the broth of her ramen was really vinegary for some reason, and mine took forever to come out. It must have taken my dish fifteen minutes longer than anyone elses! The server apologized multiple times, and the dish eventually came out. It turned out to be pretty good, but they gave a very skimpy amount of pork. My broth tasted a lot better than my friends, so our hypothesis was that they messed up the broth on that particular ramen, and they gave it to my friend without knowing, but fixed it before they served mine. I think that they shouldve replaced my friends ramen if theyd known that there was a problem with it, but she was too nice to complain. I will come here again, but hopefully the service will be better next time. (Note: The servers were great, but the food quality was ehhh.)

Comment: The noise here is a bit intense, with the brick wall just bouncing the music back at you rather than absorbing it. Otherwise, the food is pretty good! It’s got an open kitchen, so a party won’t necessarily get all their food at once, but they’re reasonably close to each other. The staff is also really friendly and they’re reasonably fast, accurate, and polite.

Comment: This Wagamama is fantastic. Great location just across from Madison Square Park. It’s also the first Wagamama with a full bar. Lovely decor inside and very spacious. Can’t ever go wrong with the ramen however my favorites are the donburi bowls. The duck in particular. Reasonably priced for what you get. The bar staff is always cheery and Carolyn the general manager is a delight as well. Don’t miss out on the cocktails.

He made some excellent recommendations and our food came out fresh and hot in about 10 minutes.Food: We ordered the fried duck dumplings and the sauce was to die for. Our main meal was the short rib Ramen. I got mine to be spicy and rich. Once you combine all the ingredients, it is an absolute mind changing experience. My only complaint is that the short rib could have been seasoned a little better. Overall, this place is definitely worth it.
