Can’t go wrong with a bento box for lunch or dinner, chicken teriyaki never disappoints. The atmosphere of the restaurant is always pretty calm and welcoming. It is a family owned business and the owners are always there providing excellent service.

They are always kind and happy to answer ay questions. This place is definitely one of the under appreciated spots in Greenpoint. People who walk past this place are missing out, hard. You just cant beat an all your can eat sushi special going for $40 a person. I would keep quiet about it, but dont want this place to go out of business due to a lack of word of mouth. See it. Get it. Eat it.

He loves Japanese culture and he’s a sushi kind of guy.I called the restaurant to make reservations and the woman on the phone was so nice and helpful. I informed her that this is to celebrate my son birthday and how interested he was in the art from the reviews. We had a 6:30PM reservation and got there for 7:15.Upon arriving at the restaurant we were greeted with smiles and warm welcome. We were even seated right away. The menu was beautiful. Instead of a cake we opted to have assorted sushi served to us in a boat. My son was so happy, even I was 😅 The fried ice cream & Filet mignon was great alsoThe restaurant is family run and it’s great. I believe the guys name is Robby (don’t quote me on that) HE HAS AN AMAZING SOUL. He kept us entertained and he made us feel so welcomed. After dinner we had a great conversation where we found out his son did the art that my son loved, how cool. Even crazier their birthdays are two days apart. This restaurant will be a staple in my household. They’re currently remodeling the back area with art. I can’t wait to see when it’s finished because it’s beautiful now 😉 I’ll take the drive for the sushi because it’s fresh and well prepared. Beside that, the family running this place have one of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Thank you for making my son birthday extra special. We’ll be back 💛

We got really fast service however we did not feel rushed to eat and ever single item was absolutely amazing. The food had such great flavor. We ordered the Angel sushi roll, tuna tataki, Toro, and Hawaiian Sashimi Salad. The owners of the this business are couple, who are such kind and friendly people they made sure we were taken care of and that we enjoyed our time there. The wall art was painted by their son which adds so much to the uniques of the place. Overall the experience was amazing, I would definitely recommend it to a friend and will be going back again.

The service can sometimes be a bit slow but the wait staff is incredibly helpful. My tips for you: download and pay via the Cinch app so you can get a discount and don’t order a cocktail. They’ll make it but by the time they do you’ll regret the fact that you did. They don’t seem to really know how to make them and it definitely sends them into a bit ofa frenzy.

The only downside is the place is quiet cold during the winter months to eat in even with my coat on, at least it was when I last went. And the ceiling leaks on the room on the back when it rains. The prices of the bento boxes are especially unbeatable though. I dont work nearby anymore, but I still crave their food from time to time.

While this isnt on par with authentic Japanese Tonkatsu, it is VERY good. The Chicken Katsu is particularly good and holds up well when ordered for delivery.
