Comment: My friend and I recently dined at Yahao Asian Cuisine. We started with warm green tea and hot sake, accompanied by a mix of appetizers. The crispy calamari was a bit too crunchy, but the beef nagamaki was a delightful surprise. The dumplings, and especially tuna tortilla pizza from the sushi bar were also enjoyable. We opted for the Yahao Poke Bowl for our main course, appreciating the customizable ingredients, though the rice had cooled by the time we finished our appetizers.Our waiter, Danny, was attentive and knowledgeable, promptly providing forks and refilling our tea. For dessert, the chocolate and green tea ice cream were highlights. However, the lack of nearby parking (requiring a 10-minute walk) was inconvenient. The staff’s noise while measuring for a room divider proved distracting, and we found the table a bit sticky with insufficient napkins.Despite these drawbacks, the positive aspects, including the delicious dishes, good company, and pleasant music, contribute to an overall rating of 4 out of 5 for our experience.

Comment: Is there for the first time found it a very pleasant experience they have a sign that says Under New Management well this new management is fantastic dont know anything about the old one all I know is that the food was outrageously delicious the decor is fair the place is clean they have a fantastic bar the people are extremely polite and every time my tea disappeared the gentleman knew ahead of time and was always filling up my teacup I found this place to be a very warm and surprising place it is not tremendously large but its not small either its a nice medium size place to go when youre going with family or someone close to you or to take a date actually the lights are medium to low and it is very inviting and warm I would recommend this place especially since the prices are extremely Fair and its very hard to find a place that has such excellent food as you can see from my photographs for the prices that they ask it is amazing so check out their menu see whats going on with them visiting John says this is a good one not to Miss

Comment: A gem-like sushi restaurant in Great Neck. I cant say its the best, but I want to say its the best. The taste was good and the portion size was sufficient for a relatively cheap price. The store was a little dark, but the atmosphere wasnt bad. The staffs service was average, but the food was served quickly and accurately. However, I dont recommend it if you want the freshest and best sushi, but I highly recommend it if you want to try good sushi nearby.

Comment: My mom and I came here after a gentleman saw us standing outside contemplating whether or not we should come in. He stopped on his way in stating If youre debating, it is very good and worth a try. I work right down the street and I love it. That made our decision, and boy was he right. My mom got the Thai Basil Chicken and I, the Chicken with Broccoli. The food was well flavored and the rice had the perfect texture. We are definitely going to stop again, I am so thankful for a strangers suggestion.

Comment: Good food! Super convenient for me as it’s next to Muddworks. Been coming here occasionally for a few years after pottery painting and it’s a very consistent restaurant.Ramen is pretty good, asked for chili oil and that made it really great. You get a lot of add ins for some texture which I really enjoy.Sushi is made fresh to order and tastes good.Average Japanese food pricing I would say. Service is good too. Would recommend!

Comment: I want to come back again and get the full experience of Yahao cuisine.I ordered from here a couple for delivery.I decided to come to the restaurant out of curiosity in order to get my meal.They have a very cool anime display at the front door. A very nice bar when you walk in with nice seating. Perfect for waiting for a table or a quick meetup with a friend.I was very impressed with the size of the restaurant and the quickness of the food.I posted a few pictures but hopefully soon I can add pictures of the meals that I order.In the meantime, they have his and hers bathrooms and a municipal parking lot down the road. This location is also near the LIRR.The sushi also looked really good.Make a trip over and enjoy.

Comment: Sushi was good and tasty. Slightly expensive for sushi but like I said the freshness and flavor made sense. The place wasnt really packed so my service was A1. I was the only person there tho. The server was pretty helpful in making me try another type of roll other than a rainbow roll, that they didnt have surprisingly.I really would give them a 4.5 not a 5 for the minor issues but well round up. This place is worth a visit if youre out here in the area Id say.

For the poke bowl, you can custom order your own or choose the one they have. It has so many different categories of foods to choose. Nice service and fast delivery. Comment: If you ask me where to get the best poke bowl and ramen in great neck, I’d tell you Yahao! Their food are quality, fresh and tasty, the place is great for quick meal or family dinner, their delivery service is quick and reliable, the most important part is that they do offer My fav poke bowl, I used to take the train and travel all the way to the city just for that, but now lol no more travel, no more hassle! Yahaooooo!
