Comment: My favorite sushi spot in town. Its not as upscale or pricey as the ones in the city, and you get more bang for your buck without sacrificing quality! The chefs here are also always so friendly, which is a plus, and whether you prefer traditional sushi rolls, specialty rolls or other hot dishes - theres something for everyone here! I’ve been here a handful of times and never been disappointed in the food or service!

Comment: 3.7 rounds to 4.This restaurant had easy parking, and great interior atmosphere. Very modern and up to date.There was a wide range of food options from sushi to Thai, as the name implies. Flavors were robust and well done. I noticed that the gentleman who was refilling waters, was pulling ice from a bucket sitting under a table at the water station. That weirded me out a bit. He was however, prompt in refills.Prevention for the food was on point, I really loved the touch of hibiscus and attention to detail here.We were one of 3 sets if people fir half of the time we were there, and the waiters/waitresses kept staring. Probably to che k on us, but as they were standing 4 ft away, made it feel awkward at times.Overall the food was enjoyed, and we would go back again.

The host was really friendly and she made an effort to chat with us. We got a few speciality rolls but the one that truly stood out was spicy girl, mind eraser and #5 roll. Would highly recommend!

Comment: This has been our favorite Sushi-Asian Fusion Restaurant for 25 years . Tonight was quite chilly and their Chicken hot and sour soup always warms me right up . Tonight I also enjoyed their Pad Thai noodle dish, one of my favorite soups, it is. scrumptious . We always feel like family when we arrive . The owner Tony and his daughter Jenny are always smiling and happy to have you enjoy their beautiful restaurant. This has been a new site for the last year after a fire in their original site . This new location is smaller, modern and beautifully designed . We feel at home and it is our go to restaurant since their sushi is the best in the area and they offer several other delicious Asian dishes too Lucky to have this restaurant in our Commack/East Northport area .

The drinks were very good too. The place isn’t big and was packed, service was excellent and the York peppermint patty’s at the end were a nice touch. Definitely recommend it.

Comment: What a hidden gem! Went for lunch with my son for his birthday. Beautiful menu with endless choices and beautiful pictures so you know what you’ll get. Everything we ordered was amazing! Fluke, gyoza, squid, spicy girl roll, brain drain(?), tiger roll, seaweed salad! All fresh and wonderful. Left us a good-kind-of full, but splurged for dessert. Again, desserts were light but delicious! This was our first time there, and can’t wait to go back! Plus, such pleasant and helpful service with a smile!

Comment: My friends and I came here because another restaurant across the street was crowded and can I say, we were NOT disappointed!! There are many selections to choose from and although the place is smaller than you think it would be, we did not wait that long (we went around 7pm). The bento box combo really gives you a little bit of everything to understand how their quality is. The food was really good and we left happy. Overall 5/5 and the staff is really friendly!!

The food was very good, including the goyza, shrimp wonton soup, the sushi sashimi for two was more then enough. The service was also very good. To be honest Ive been to some Japanese and sushi restaurants outside of the city and have never been as impressed!!!! The presentation, the quality, the taste.We went for the special rolls because the pictures on the menu were mouthwatering. We were blown away by the taste and quality of the food.We had the fried oyster with butter and cod miso appetizer. Both were so savory and flavorful. The cod miso took the cake for me because it was piping hot, soft and flaky, with a delicious and deep sweet soy flavor. The cod miso was recommended to us as its not something I would normally order. Now I would order it every time I come!I think we had the No.5 roll and the 2009 roll? Im not too sure but it was beautiful and tasty! We were so impressed when it came out. One roll literally has everything I love - shrimp tempura, salmon, avocado, lobster, crab and hit the spot! The other roll had soy paper, avocado, caviar, soft shell crab. Both were 10/10!!

This place is actually even better than some of sushi restaurants Ive been to in the city because of their rice-to-fish ratio. They definitely do not skimp out on the protein. The fish is super fresh and everything is priced so so well. The interior is such a cute vibe. The name might sound familiar to you because they have been open for a long time and have recently moved to this new location.Did I mention theres a full bar as well? So you can get your sushi & amazing drinks to pair with it. The owner is so attentive and came over to my table to ask how we were doing. The staff is also so nice and professional. If youre ever in the commack area, this is a MUST MUST try. Get the tokyo roll! its one of my faves :)

Comment: Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Everything is super fresh the sushi the food and it is all so good. The restaurant is also really nice, clean, modern, and a great atmosphere. Staff is super friendly as well. I love the Chicken Katsu here they must give it a squirt of lemon or something because I get hints of lemon through out it the portion is also nice too you get 2 large cutlets cut up. My wife loves the spicy tuna, spicy crab, and eel,/cucumber rolls from here she says they are freshest. We are so lucky to have so many Japanese restaurants in the area but since Yokohama reopened in its new location it has become our favorite. Wish I had pictures of the food to share but it looked so good I forgot to take some and just ate it all. Next time I will share some pictures.

Comment: The area is central and therefore convenient, but it is not the cleanest. The shape and architecture of the building is weird. The carpets need cleaning and the decor is outdated.In lieu of a hibachi section like many sushi restaurants have nowadays, they have an entire section of the building closed off for large parties. This is unoccupied most of the time, but they have the ability to do large scale entertainment there. Time will tell if they keep this section.All that being said, my experience gave me an interesting choice of rolls and fish, and a fresh-tasting sushi experience. Despite the dirty carpets and outdated decor, the quirky atmosphere and eclectic selection of fresh fish will make me come back...And who knows, maybe I would even consider renting out that party room.

The owner is extremely accomodating, the wait staff are extremely attentive to your needs and most importantly they have absolutely theeeeee freshest fish you can get your hands on.
