Comment: For $31 all you can eat sushi, this is pretty hard to beat. The quality of the fish is surprisingly good and the hand rolls are a generous portion of fish. The service is super attentive and quick. It’s a great deal for the price and satisfies your sushi cravings. Recommend the spicy salmon hand roll!

Comment: We really like coming here. The sushi is fresh, delicious and at a good price! They have all you can eat for $30pp. They bring the food quickly and they have so many options to choose from, sushi, sashimi and even chicken wings! The place is a bit small and it gets really busy but they turn the tables quick so theres hardly ever a wait to be seated. The waitresses have everything down packed. They work together well to bring the food and drinks out fast. I recommend

Comment: Alright foodies, ready your chopsticks for a delightful plunge into Yuka, the sushi paradise! From the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in an aura of contemporary elegance, accented by delicate Japanese decor. The all-you-can-eat sushi beckoned with a tantalizing parade of sushi that left me in awe. But the show-stopper? The freshness of each piece. Each bite was a dance of textures and flavors, the fish as if it had just leapt from the ocean onto my plate. And it wasnt just the sushi that had me singing praises - their miso soup was a warm hug in a bowl, the perfect preamble to the sushi saga.If youre seeking an endless cascade of sushi delights that promises both quality and quantity, give Yuka a try. Trust me, its an experience that lingers, much like the taste of their sublime tuna sashimi. Dive in!

Comment: Great little spot with a good atmosphere. I went with a friend but would be 100% comfortable going by myself. I used to love sushi para 88, and I still hit kikoos ayce sushi too. This place fits right in between the two imo. Good quality sushi pieces with a good selection. I totally recommend for a great ayce sushi experience in nyc.

Comment: Sushi was good but the service far from it.They have a system for ordering with paper and pencil. When you order cuts you write a number and they bring you 4 times the rolls. (You write 1 they bring 4, you write 2 they bring 8 etc...).Now I did not see those instructions (my fault!). So when the waiter saw this and explained to me, I was going to rewrite my order accordingly. But she said she would take care of that. She obviously didnt. Our table was flooded with sushi rolls.I reminded her of what we said and she took back only some of them. Now, none of the waiters spoke good English so I gave up explaining.I ate all the rolls (12 spicy tuna when I ordered 4) and left. With no tip.

Comment: I have been coming to this all you can eat establishment for at least 25 years and never once disappointed. In this day and age of inflation and high priced restaurants, this is still one of the best bargains in New York.Small bite sized sushi made to order with large selection of cut rolls & hand rolls. As a bonus, first serving of Saki with your meal is just $3.50 per person.Staff is always friendly and service with a smile.

Comment: You write down the order on 1 piece of paper for everyone at your table the bad part is they bring all the food condensed on as few plates as possible on a small table so now you and your party have to figure out whose sushi is whos very confusing, we gave up we all just shared

Comment: We went there to try all you can eat. It is 30.95 for person. The place was more crowded than we expected. The products are delicious and fresh. Especially the crunchy ones are the best in our opinion. In addition, we tried all the appetizers. They were pretty good. The miso soup that came before the meal was also delicious. However, I cannot say the same for hot sake. I definitely do not recommend. Despite being very cheap, its still a complete waste. Also, the quality of the rolls decreased towards the late hours of the night. I couldnt tell if it was due to the fatigue or intentional. It may be helpful to get there early.

Comment: As far as AYCE sushi places go, this would definitely not be my top choice. Its definitely cheaper in both price and quality. There was an absurd amount of rice on many of the rolls, and most of them were kind of sloppily rolled so the presentation wasnt as nice as the average sushi place. The extra rice makes it hard for you to eat more (which is exactly their intention probably), and youre required to finish everything including the rice if you dont want to pay an extra fee. No sashimi is offered on the menu, so the rice is unavoidable. The hand rolls are also large but tasty.

Comment: Superb. We had delivered a dream roll (excellent), vegetable gyozo (excellent), and a great, plentiful vegetable soba soup. The vegetables were so packed in the container, there was hardly much room for the broth, so it ended up being largely a chopstick dish rather than a soup to sip — Id like to see 4-5 times more broth. I ended up cooking some broth to go with it. Maybe Ill try to negotiate this with them next time, or Ill just ramp up to the pricier tier of ramen soup with beef or whatever. Anyway, well definitely return to order here in future. Notably good food!

Comment: Great all you can eat sushi! Fish was super fresh and rice was on point. If you’re used to traditional sushi, you’ll feel there’s too much rice, but it’s their style. Great price and you can try a range of things, from gyozas, hand rolls, salmon, tuna, octopus, clams, shrimps and more. They also have a hot sake for 3,5$ that totally worth it! Comment: My wife and I absolutely love this sushi place on the Upper East Side and go just about every other week! They have an amazing deal for All You Can Eat (AYCE) for under $30 everyday of the week! You might hear AYCE Sushi and be a little nervous, which I completely get (had food poisoning before from a different AYCE Sushi restaurant), but I promise you every single time we go, Yuka is serving fresh, high-quality, good sushi and thats the reason we keep coming back! With your AYCE, you can have Miso Soup, choice of appetizers (Dumplings, Spring Rolls, etc.), hand or cut rolls, and sushi. Hard to find a better deal in Manhattan, especially for Sushi. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

Comment: Awesome AYCE sushi for $28! Was in a group of four and we ordered two “rounds”. Everything tasted good. There are some complaints about the quality but I can’t agree- it’s yummy and exactly what you’d expect for the situation and price. I saw some reviews that it also comes with free ice cream, I asked about this and they don’t do that anymore :(

Wayback when AYCE sushi wasn’t really a thing.I’ve seen the old staff, old ways of charging (remember when they went to no tipping, or cash only on AYCE?)Absolutely different scene with Covid, was shocked there was no line pouring, people stacked inside. They follow covid protocols pretty well!Salmon here is top notch! Will say:Wish they had a premium tier +$10 get 50% less rice maybe some sashimi options (& limit to 2 or 3 orders)The salmon tataki is usually my favorite but noticed it being a tad saltier, my teeth crushed into the rock salt.Miso soup was good, just gotta ask for it.Staff is very nice.Place was clean!Still top notch in my book for east coast.

Comment: I’ve been eating at Yuka for over 15 years. I used to live a block away, and it was always a warm, welcoming, busy place serving excellent sushi and sashimi. As you can see, the prep is simple and the fish is just gorgeous. The hamachi Kama ( grilled yellowtail neck) is perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious- creamy, rich meat that’s never over cooked. They have an “ all you can eat” special, which I never get because I would probably explode if I ordered it- but men I’ve come here with have ordered it and pronounced it excellent. It’s an UES staple, and a gem. Come here and enjoy.

Comment: Came here for all you can eat sushi and would come again. The deal was good and the sushi even better. The reason for the missing star is that sashimi and seaweed salad are not included as part of the all you can eat menu like they are at many other sushi places. You are also a little limited in terms of the sushi you can order iff the all you can eat menu. However they do have an ~18 piece sashimi platter for less than the all you can eat price, so if you are with someone who wants to get stuffed on sashimi, it can be done.

Comment: This is the best place to hate yourself and be ashamed for being to weak and not resisting ordering more and more. However it s an ayce so don t expect the best fish, it s correctly prepared though.

Comment: When you enter the vibes are great and feels very authentic. The staff their are very friendly and assist you with any questions you might have about the sushi. The service was great, fast, and even though the place was very busy they were very attentive to your table. The sushi was amazing once you place your order it take less than 5-10min to get your massive order. I totally recommend this place to anyone that is visiting New York and is a couple minutes away from Time Square.

Comment: Great quality sushi, very impressed. First time in NYC and first AYCE sushi that I tried after doing some online research. Cant imagine that theres another sushi restaurant here that will serve me this kind of sushi (and other Japanese dishes) for 25usd. Not skimpy on fish and very little rice, hope it stays this way because Im going back tomorrow. Thanks all Yuka staff.

Comment: What you can get with the price is awesome. its very reasonable all-you-can-eat sushi! just be careful to order sencond round - the rices quantity is a lot that you might not be able to finish if you order a lot. If you couldnt eat all what you ordered, youll get fine. And its always good not to waste too.

Comment: Ive been to some of the premier sushi restaurants in the city and Yuka puts most of them to shame. Come here for the AYCE (all you can eat). For $25, you can consume your body weight in exceptional quality sushi. They have a full menu, but do the sushi - its their specialty. The service and freshness of the fish is stellar and has been consistent for the many years Ive visited.

Comment: Best AYCE Sushi in NYC. Ive been going to Yuka for over 20 years!! The fish is fresh, sushi rice is on point and everything is made when ordered rather than pre-made sushi thats been sitting for God knows how long?! I highly recommend Salmon and Eel pieces and the spicy tuna/crab salad hand rolls. Plus you can add sake for $3!! I cant wait to go back!!

Comment: Very good sushi. Two emotional crossroads were encountered in the course of our meal. First was the question of do we go for the all-you-can-eat option? which, as the seasoned sushi diner knows, comes with the risk of ordering too much and having to pay extra, and thus the inherent risk of dangerous over eating. We opted out of AYCE, delivering ourselves into peaceful risk free enjoyment of sushi. For the frugally minded, we got 4 regular rolls and 2 fancy special rolls. And a miso soup. It all added up to $50 so about the same as the AYCE price. Plenty of food for 2. I urge you to try the scallion yellowtail. The other emotional crossroad was the screaming children. There were two in Yuka when I visited. Its easy to be annoyed with them and their parents. But it was nicer and easier to scream along with them. Then the restaurant and the children were very quiet.Great sushi!

Comment: I never have a problem at this place i have been coming here for years. Also for people who try the all you can eat and state. It doesnt tell you that you must pay for what you dont eat. Its right on the all you can eat menu it clearly states. You cannot share all with another person and you will be charged for what you dont eat.

Comment: I always get the all-you-can-eat sushi here and Ive never been disappointed. They give you the real deal and they know how to pace you with your large orders. I will kill for the salmon tataki. Its so smooth. Its so sweet. Its so delicious. For some reason, I always order way too much. The last few pieces are horrendously difficult to stuff into my stomach. It requires some techniques of adjusting belts and shifting positions.I heard someone say that the fish here had high mercury levels, but I think that its all a part of the experience. Its not a daily eat, so I think a little bit of mercury wont hurt too much. Anyway, if the mercury poisoning doesnt get to you, your stomach will explode. My favorite part of the restaurant is the old Japanese lady. Shes the best. Always prompt with tea and gives the whole place a warm authentic feeling. There should be an old Japanese lady in every Japanese restaurant. The less English she speaks, the better.

Comment: This is a great all you can eat sushi place. I like seating at the bar. It gives me a chance to see the sushi chef and feels more authentic than seating at a table in the back of the restaurant. For a little more than $20, its a good deal for sushi. Unlike some other places, you dont get appetizers or dessert. The sushi pieces are not very big and dont come with a lot of rice (this is a good thing). This allows you to try all the options until you find the pieces you like. I like the eel, tuna, salmon and fish roe best. They do charge extra for some rolls and sushi and expensive things like uni are not included with all you can eat. For the price you pay its a good bargain if you eat a lot.I would go back again.

Comment: Perfect All You Can Eat Nigiris for $23USD! Between my boyfriend and I we ate close to 50! (So its a better option for the Carta that serves only eight for $15). Just 2 nigiris of sixteen are with extra charge, so theres so many options to choose.

Comment: I usually eat sashimi when I go for Japanese. I ordered 10 piece sashimi appetizer, with miso soup. My friend and I split Dragon rolls and Anago sushi. He got rice bowl with pork. Sashimi was good, by far the most tastiest pieces were salmon. Tuna not super fresh but not bad. Dragon rolls were delicious with avocado. I would go there again for sure. It is a good value, they have a fairly extensive menu, and wait staff is knowledgeable and polite.

Comment: $23 for all you can eat sushi (with exception to some fish, which costs extra ranging from $1 to $1.25) is a great deal in this neighborhood. The fish is quite fresh, and the fish-to-rice ratio is slightly heavy on rice (as is the case in most AYCE spots), but its still reasonable.Taking away one star because a few of our orders were missed and we had to reorder twice. Service is otherwise friendly and efficient.Tips are also included in the prices, which makes dividing bills a lot easier.

Comment: Ive been eating sushi here for over 20 years. The sushi is always fresh, and it isnt overloaded with rice like most all-you-can-eat places. The staff is always friendly and the people eating at the sushi bar are usually friendly and interesting. There is nothing especially fancy here; you fill out a piece of paper by checking off how many pieces of each type of sushi you would like, and do this as many times as you would like. The sushi is really some of the best, the price cant be beat and every one of the many people Ive introduced Yuka to regularly come back on their own.

Comment: All you can eat sushi for $21 + tip and tax (~27).Went there with a couple of friends on a Friday night at ~8:30, had to wait for about 10 min to be seated. The service was reasonably fast and most of the staff were friendly. Had some sushi and also some rolls. Everything was fine, not the greatest sushi you can get, but for an all you can eat it was OK.

Comment: I have been going to Yuka since I was 17 (I am 35 now) and for most of these years I have gone for the All-you-can-eat Sushi special. But a few years ago my wife and I decided to try other items on the menu and we were pleasantly surprised! The Yuka steak is good, the seafood salad is just as filling as the all you can eat special and the best deal in town and the other items we have sampled have met or exceeded expectations.Downside- no longer open for lunch and because they are small you are politely asked to leave when you finish eating because of other customers waiting for a table.
