Teddie was an accommodating host, as was her staff consisting of Cesar, Ehman, Joe, and Ryan. I can’t even list everything I ate, but some some of the stars are the Torched Sake, Tartar, Waygu, Chilean Sea Bass, Passion Chile Marg, Skirt Steak, and the dessert platter. I will be back.

Each dish showcased flavors that left us eager for more. For the main course, we opted for the renowned black cod, a personal favorite that did not disappoint. Obviously, I came with a toddler and they assisted in checking in our stuff and stroller, provided him with a high chair and coloring materials.The highlight for me is the ambience and food. Perfect for special occasionsand date nights. The umami of the wagyu beef made our night.Shoutout to Carol and Michael for the wonderful customer service.

Comment: In one word? Divine!We celebrated a friends birthday in one of Zumas private rooms, and it was an incredibly enjoyable experience. Having the entire room to ourselves, along with two attentive waiters, added to the sense of exclusivity. The room itself was spacious and cozy, although I must admit that the choice of music didnt quite align with the restaurants overall ambiance. Nevertheless, the rest of the establishment exuded a luxurious atmosphere without feeling pretentious.When it comes to food we were presented with a pre-selected menu consisting of 12 different courses—a sheer delight for any food enthusiast! The dishes were not only meticulously presented but also flavorful and overall delicious. Every item served was of exceptional quality. While I definitely had my favorites, there wasnt a single dish that I didnt enjoy. One that stood out particularly was the seared tuna with chili daikon, which surpassed all expectations and it was so soft it simply melted on my tongue. The thinly sliced sea bass sashimi was another highlight, offering a delightful texture and delicious flavor. I also enjoyed the chefs selection of fresh sashimi and maki, as well as the rice hot pot with mushrooms, even though Im not particularly fond of their texture. While the beef tenderloin looked visually appealing, it fell slightly short of the anticipated taste. Nevertheless, it was still tasty. Despite feeling full after having 11 courses, I still made room for the sweet finale in terms of a dessert platter featuring fresh fruit, ice cream, and a chocolate fondant.It definitely was not a cheap night, but everyones should treat themselves once in a while and Zuma is perfect for that! Visited in June 2023.

Comment: I wanted to come to Zuma in New York after having a great experience at the Las Vegas location. I had an incredible time here. We were celebrating a graduation and the kitchen surprised us with a note on the dessert that we ordered that none of us planed for or asked for. So thank you so much for that Zuma. Super thoughtful. Everything was delicious. We came in. They originally wanted to sit our party across from each other at a long table they have, with other guest. We asked them if we could wait for a booth. They were very polite and said we were more than welcome to. We waited at the bar. Zuma has one of my favorite alcoholic drinks I have ever tasted, the raspberry & passion, fruit martini. The wait was quick and we got seated at the corner booth which was great. The staff was super kind and friendly. I asked our waiter for recommendations and she recommended the pork dumplings if I recall correctly and they were absolutely delicious. I’d pass on the calamari next time but I’m happy to have experienced it. The steak was delicious. I love how the steak is cut for you. The dessert looked amazing and it was fun to eat the different kinds of fruit and treats they had in the bowl. There was a DJ playing when we went which we really enjoyed. He seemed very passionate. Can’t wait to come back.

Our family did the Signature level Omakase, as it seems this gives a great sampling of the variety Zuma has to offer and we wanted that experience here, but you dont have to spend on the that to have a great dining experience Im sure. A sommelier so kindly and quietly came to me to help with the wine selection. I of course took his advice and so happy I did. I tried his white and then red suggestions and both were amazing!We came to Zuma for a special occasion and Zuma didnt disappoint, it was a highly positive experience!My images, dont do it justice. Comment: My review will based on 2 things1- reception: our reservation was 9 pm we came on time and the host at the door asked us to wait at the bar. We waited 20 min and we asked again and they took us to a counter table which is too bad location and facing the wall .. i asked to change it as I never asked for such table … on of the host was so cold and no hospitality skill at all .. until we met another hist called Norah and she managed to fund us a good table after 45 min !! However, we managed to have a good table in the main restaurant,, hence the 4 star rating…2- the food : is great as always prices considerably high but worth it…

Comment: This place is actually really phenomenal. It is a upper-end chain resturant (similar to something like Tao) with locations all over the world, but the food actually lives up to the hype. The resturant itself is very beautiful and the staff are attentive and professional. The food is excellent and it’s not priced that crazy - you could feasibly have a full meal for ~$150 (incl. tax and tip) for 2 people. For reference, our meal was ~$270 for 2 because the lobster alone is ~$95 with tax and tip.They have so many amazing things on the menu - my personal favorites are the skirt steak and the lobster. I would recommend ordering a bunch of different dishes and sharing as it’s definitely worth it to try several different things.You can dress semi-casually earlier in the evening (saw tourists with hats on or plain tshirts), but I think it is fancier/boujier at night and is almost club-like with the multiple bars and blasting music. Would recommend at least a collared shirt, though I couldn’t find a dress code listed on their website.This was my second time here and I’ll definitely come back!

As soon as I walked in I felt sexy, it’s like I was meeting James Bond in that place :) loved the service, attention to details ( like that runway on your way to the luxurious bathroom).Then comes the drinks! So delicious, fun and the options are endless (cocktails, wine, and my favorite sake which was delicious with my sushi) Finally the delicious sushi!!! I’m getting hungry again talking about it. And I loved it!The service is the best, they manage to maintain great atmosphere, very classy yet very casual and friendly.The girl who was our server recommended great meals. We ordered salmon & tuna tartar, rock shrimp tempura, salmon & avocado roll (basic, but perfect), fatty tuna roll, chirashi, dynamite spider and all of them were so fresh and yummy :)We ordered roasted lobster as the “desert”, but when we saw deserts at the table near us - we had to have some of those, too. I would recommend cheese cake and Zuma signature lava cake - you just have to try them.

The ambiance, the decor and of course the food was straight up top notch! Although it is the same franchise, the NYC location is very different in size and the tone. I would say the NYC is more classic and romantic as Miami one is more light and social. Once you there you are absolutely cant miss their signature dish - Black cod, it is simply delicious! Had to return to the kitchen [yup Im a bad customer🤨], they over 🔥🔥🔥 and it came this time burned [message from a chef- dont like row......eat it burned]. Seeing my 😥😥 a server pleasantly offered to remake it even I asked not to. The second try was better but chewy and dry. You might think well-done steak cant be delicious and I ruined the meat, however, I always eat well-done meat and trust me Ive tried better, they exist!! Also, I believe, talented chefs can make great steak at any temperature. If you are like me dont order steak here.Overall was an interesting experience. I liked the ambiance and dessert the most, service was good and attentive. Ill probably give another try for sushi next time.

Probably because we decided what we wanted pretty quickly and our server didnt get a chance to ask us whether it was our first time here or not.In addition to the buffet service you get a free drink, fried calamari and a main dish. Everything else (including desserts) is self-service from the various counters.One thing we did notice, for the brunch service at least, was that there was no real drinks menu given. There were some brunch alcoholic drinks listed at the top, but when I asked whether there were any non-alcoholic drinks available the waitress had to recite 4 of them. She later had to do the same for the table behind us. I suggest they actually put this down on the menu as it saves everyone a lot of time. I had the iced green tea and passion fruit cocktail, which was nice. I mentally rolled my eyes at the last option of a virgin mojito, but thats because thats what EVERYONE always offers as a non-alcoholic cocktail.The service did seem a little confused at times as our mains didnt come at the same time, mine came 10 minutes later. In fact we werent sure when they were supposed to turn up so whilst I waited for mine I went to get some miso soup. Unfortunately, the station was empty and one of the managers said theyd bring it to my table. They never did, but I finally received my main shortly afterwards.The food itself was good for the most part, though some of the sashimi and sushi were kind of uninteresting. Much preferred the hot counter food. The roast pork buns were particularly nice. Probably would have gotten more of them if they hadnt kept running out, though that could be a blessing in disguise for my waist line. 8) That was the case for other items that were popular, they didnt get restocked very quickly.The restaurant is beautifully designed and not too loud even with it being mostly full. There looked to be dining areas above too.Do note that they dont show all their seatings on Opentable for Sunday brunch. If it looks like theyre booked out then try their website online system. We had assumed this might be the case but managed to do a walk-in as we got there early on.

Comment: At Zuma, you connect with food on another level. The chicken and lobster appetizer were delicious. The black cod and beef tenderloin entrées were incredible. The setting is a classic of trendy NY restaurants: dark, with music, waiters dressed in black. The experience, both culinary and visual, is exceptional.

Comment: Great food and Im also renting the space for World Fashion Parade Casting Calls! Highly recommend you try the food here! Fish is really good and you can tell chefs put in a lot of work into the food combinations.

Comment: Yummy food, looks incredible artistic!I keep coming to Zuma and tried their lunch package. The grilled salmon and escalope are super yum, the salad is fresh and the dressing is lovely. Try the dessert...its not only delicious, it looks beautiful and carefully crafted.Happy to recommend it and go back again here

Comment: I visited here during the restaurant week and was generally satisfied. But I dont think I will visit here when its not a promotion period. The food was definitely better than the average japanese restaurants but I doubt its worth the price and the portion. Rolls were really, really good though and they are not that expensive compared to the other menus. So if Im visiting here again. i will focus on the roll menus. Service was very good.
